TMI (Too Much Information)

This is a story of how StudioHampton came to be. Sketching Kiss masks on my mom's kitchen table's white linen napkins, drawing vibrant-colored TeePees, absorbing everything including velspar in high school art class, mowing lawns, going to college, working one year in a factory, going to art school, paying dues at a print shop and a shopper guide, managing a car wash, flying the hometown coop taking art director job on Nantucket Island, working for a fast-growning Massachusetts ad agency, moving to colorado, diving into HTML, scoring some big clients.

TIming Is Everything

24 months into designing ads, brochures, direct mail, logos, and running the production department, I decided to move closer to family in Colorado, setting out on my own to do web and print freelance design. I have helped add value and smart looks to many companies over the past 7 years including The Denver Post, VeriPost, Samsonite Luggage, NewsGator, CheapTickets.com, and many other smaller design firms.
